Seems a dreadful set of fixtures for Wigan to me. Warrington at home on a Thursday, 2nd home game against Toronto again on a Thursday. No Friday night games until mid April. Saints at home the second to last game after we've already played them twice away. Magic against Warrington yet again. No chance of any crowds around the 20k mark this year.

Good for those with young children, an audience the club have targeted, three Sunday home games early on in the season when it's generally colder.

My first thoughts on the two Thursday fixtures were negative but then I started to think at least they’ll be bigger then they may have been on Fridays in mid season and certainly Thursday mid season games. People will be geared up for that first game getting to see Hastings, Burgess, Widdop etc and that will help. There will also be a buzz to see Money Bill in the flesh. They’d have been better crowds on Friday nights but hopefully those factors can offset it.

On the plus side I miss no home fixtures when I’m away for two weeks so I can sort a season ticket out.

Worst thing about those 6 consecutive away games is they’re all Yorkshire games, the joys of visiting Hull KR Wakey and Cas in the space of a month

It really annoys me that the RFL have put us at stains twice again, why apart from the magic weekend anyone has to play each other more than once home and away is beyond me

If you lost 3 games that's over a quarter of your gate receipts, how would you retrieve that?

Well if you want all those fixtures we should at least play stains at Wigan twice rather than us going to them twice

The "loop fixtures" are based on the current seasons league positions. Had Wigan finished one place above Saints then we would have had two homes games against them.

It was 1 v 2, 6 and 10 home 1 v 4, 8 and 12 away
2 v 3, 7 and 11 at home 2 v 1, 5 and 9 away.

Wow trolling on another forum and trust me i ain't no snowflake i just believe it should be home and away in the league as it can end up where you can be playing a team between 4-6 times in a season if you include the challenge cup,all these loop fixtures do is water down the entertainment hence why the crowds are down
