| I'm due for renewal shortly and an upgrade. As most of you are aware i took on the C905 and had many faults, until in the end, my aunty offered me her upgrade and she kept the same phone. Now i was wondering if i should keep my Satio and flog the upgrade, or shall i flog the Satio? Anything coming out that'll better it?

Offer the upgrade to your Auntie in the first instance mate. If she wants a new phone you keep the Satio.

I have done, dont think she wants one tbh. I think we're going to go halves on what ever we end up selling anyhow.

| My contract is coming to an end pretty shortly and i'm looking to pay no more than £15 a month. For this i can get a few decent phones (Getting 100 minutes and unlimited text messages). I have narrowed it down to just 2 phones, i'm stuck between the Nokia X6 or the Samsung Jet, anyone got either of these? Any ideas?

| Both are rated 4/5 on Amazon.
X6 has 4 reviews of which the worst is 2/5 and criticises it for being clunky and having poor performance.
Jet has 7 reviews of which the worst is 1/5 and criticises it for very short battery life
otoh, they both have several 5/5s
That probably didn't help much but it filled out 5 mins of my day

| Don't trust reviews on places like Amazon. The only people motivated to comment are those who particularly like or particularly dislike the product.

Thanks, but your right, that was pretty useless and hasn't helped me in the slightest.

It is great, is has minor flaws (you tried sending anything by bluetooth yet?) but they will be sorted when then upgrade it to android 2.1 in the next month or so.

They are defiantly upgradeable to 2.1 then? Orange shop didn't have a scooby.

I have no interest in mobile 'phones nor people's obsession with them. To me they are a tool to be used for practical purposes and as rarely as possible.
Having said that, in my experience Samsung's look pretty but are absolutely useless to use and fall apart. My wife has always had Nokias and has never had any problems. Indeed, I currently use one of her cast-offs, that was then cast off by the kids and is years old. Its the best 'phone I've had. I gave one of the kids a flash Sony Ericcson that was bought for me as the Nokia does a great job.

HTC have said so on Twitter but are yet to confirm a date. There are various rumours online that say march or April.

I spent ages last year looking around for a new phone, didn't want an iphone and went for a brand new LG touch-screen with all the gadgets. Over the course of the year the screen deteriorated and finally all I could see was static. O2 were great, their repair service is superbly fast but the first time they returned it, it didn't work at all so it eventually went back...when I got round to it.
The reason I wasn't that fussed was that I'd picked up an old work Nokia 6230 and shoved my sim in it. I love it. It's very quick and extremely simple to use, and small and lightweight. I can text like lightning and I've not missed internet connectivity in the slightest. I chuckle at my mates with their iphones standing prodding at the screens for 5 minutes trying to send a text and masturbating over those bullsht 'apps'?? My LG now sits gathering dust though I might sell it - people are still paying £100+ for them.

| All the older phones were better. Less things to go wrong with them.
I had a K750i. Belting little phone, never broke on me once.

The buttons started falling off after about 4years so i thought it was time to invest in a new one.

Still got my K750i as a backup in case the Palm Pre goes wrong. Belter of a phone, had it since 2 months after it came out (June 05) and no problems whatsoever. Its looking a bit worn and the camera slider thing is about to break but that aside, nothing wrong.
The camera was fantastic for just 2MP too.

Take a look at the HTC Legend and HTC Desire that are both due out next month. (Desire already available on TMobile)
