Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com
Fantastic day and one I'll never forget!! We went down on one of those chartered trains from Halifax! Superb day. I remember the chap on the cross bar at half time dancing on it!! Plus does anybody else remember those special edition American jackets the club got made with theclub badge on a big square at the front and you zipped it on?? Plus we lived opp Thrum Hall and followed the bus down to town!! My dad drove a big wagon so it stood out a bit but I had a great view!! Then to see the thousands outside the Town Hall...... Unbelievable and I'll never forget it!
I was there too that day and remember all the Fax fans singing happy birthday to Chris Anderson, it was a great day out. That's when the challenge cup was great to go and watch
