Quite possibly but the worrying aspect is there will have to be severence pay so basically you'll be paying out for a player whos not going to play for you and I would imagine the payments will count on the salary cap. Didnt RM sign a 4 year contract? If so that would be a big pay off, I'd imagine it may be a player with a shorter term contract. How long has Sherwin got left?

I feel we would try and sell McGoldricks contract to another club. A rumour on the casforum has Celtic interested in him, but i can't personally see this happening.



Sherwin has 1 year left, the only problem with letting Shifty go is we have no other half back, with McGoldrick the problem is where does Matterson play him, so it would be easier for everybody to let McGoldrick go instead of Shifty.

it wouldnt suprise me if this was true, i have heard similar rumours myself. as for letting mcgoldrick go that would suit me down to the ground but replacing him with another second rate and over the hill aussie all i can say is GMB must be putting some money into the club or i would tell them to get stuffed, after all who are they to dictate terms to the club but as i said it wouldnt suprise me at all.

Dont know if its true or not but look who the sponsor is GMB its a union and they may or may not be unhappy about a failed contract and may want to dissacociate if true
