It's as blatent as it gets I'm afraid. Whilst carrying the ball, JD leads into the collision with his elbow/forearm and makes contact with Wellens' face. I fail to see how it can be seen any other way.

To me it looked like he tried to hand Wellens off but missed and ended up catching him with his forearm. He then pushed Wellens away with it.

He started with his hand. If you listen to wellens when he approached Mr halibut wellens said JD leading with elbow but the French man said no it was hand and that was before any replays were shown.

No I did'nt say that. I said JD led with the Hand. I think it started near the shoulder area then went up into wellens neck/chin.

But the point of initial contact was JD's forearm with Wellens' face (at no point did it hit the chest and ricochet onto the face). Also, you'll notice that JD's hand is further away from the point of contact than the forearm, hence he led with the forearm and not the hand.

I agree, I've been trying to convince the wife we need a new tele for the last six months!

Looking forward to Sunday, should be a great game. And whoever wins, I hope we both make the eight, who would have thought it after the relegation game a few years back - just shows how strong both clubs are I feel.

i doubt it, i said on another post before we payed hull i think he has put his boots away for the rest of this season.
