| we cannot run the risk of isolating buy the brick to people with loads of spare cash.
keep them reasonabley priced and people will buy them and then if any money bags feels like splashing out they can by a dozen if they choose.
i would say no more than £20 a brick although id pay a bit more if needs be.

| It will be there forever though!
My dad (who is a Cas season ticket holder) is originally from Blackpool so me and dad are both Seasiders and I bought him a brick at Bloomfield Road for £50 and wouls do so again at Cas.
Its something special so shouldnt be cheaper than a shirt worn for one season!!!!

| A fair point.
There's two issues aren't there: raising funds for the stadium (however much that is needed) and getting fans to buy in to the stadium and have some sort of permanent link with it.
Maybe some sort of double-level scheme?

| Is it buy a brick or sponsor a brick?
Wouldn't it be a good idea to sponsors a brick, pay a one of fee, to get the stadium up and running, then maybe an annual sum to pay for youth development or what ever the supporters feel is important.
This club would then treat the ''Brick in the Wall'' members to a seasonal Thank You event or something likewise.
Not sure what the Sums would be, maybe £50 first payment then £10 a season after that. What do you think?[size=12[/size

| What do you do when someone doesn't pay a subsequent year (for whatever reason – including possibly the fact that they've died)? Rip the brick out of hte wall?

| On another subject about the new ground at glashoughton have the club approached whoever runs the train services in this area about sponsorship at the ground?
Whenever i drive past i cant help it would be a goldmine for them, they could run 3 or 4 "specials" ever 2nd weekend, it would be a 3 minutes tops walk to the ground, then there is the facilities at xscape & junction 32 if they got here on a earlier train,no car parking to worry about etc.
You'd think the supporters of the two Hull clubs, leeds, bradford etc would use them if put on,....cause all this would depend on the ground being built ...but we have a hell of a good area to build it!

how about doing something similar to what they do in crematoriums. on each sponsored brick, you attach a plaque stating sponsored by whom ever. If said sponsor does not pay the following year or what ever, the plaque is removed and somebody else is able to sponsor that brick.

I think it would lose it's appeal if it had to be renewed every year, I believe it should be for the lifetime of the stadium, then any sponsor would know that their name would live on as a Tigers supporter long after they had gone, surely that would be part of the appeal? also I think that the cash injection needed would be better coming as a big sum now to help towards the financing of the stadium.
I have to say, if it was a season by season thing I would have second thoughts as to whether buy a brick or not, but if it's for the lifetime of the stadium, then I'm up for it.

agree with you there danny, I was just saying how it could work in response to tb.
For me the idea of buying a brick which as you say had the lifetime of the stadium is a good idea. I know they did something similar at the HJ stadium.

| Its a fantastic idea and a lovely gift for a loved one or memorium for someone passed who loved the club.
Everytime me and dad go to Blackpool we pass my dads brick and it is a little bit special.
Theres no doubt it would be a popular idea.
One thing though, the ones at Blackpool create a walkway and as a result they need constantly cleaning and paint in the engraving, something BFC has not been great at doing.
It must feature on a wall not a walkway for that very reason
