In the meantime the club has now concluded the first stage of appointing architects for the detailed design of the new stadium and have received a number of quality applications. We are reviewing the documentation and the next step is to select and meet with a smaller number of firms and we anticipate appointing our chosen architects by the end of the month'"
Nice. So we should have an architect in October. I wonder how long it usually takes to draw up a stadium design ? |

The fans consultation is a double edged sword. Great to be consulted, but it will extend the design stage a bit. |

They should make it simpler by sticking questionnaires on the website and also in paper format for us to fill out. And then just do it based on the results. |

yes off subject i know but whatever happened about the shirt thing on the website, and as far as our anouncment goes its just another sideways step in my eyes, this stadium needs to start moveing forwards and fast or it could be a case of NL1 HERE WE COME and i cant stand that again. |

And when they don't include the ten lane approach road from the M62 or build the eight tier main stand or fit the padded seats with beer holders or include live feed LCD TV's on the back of the bog doors...

This may just be me, but I'm not really for fan consultation. Okay if it's pretty much we don't want it all seater and leave it at that but to much involvement and you're liable to end up with a messy watered down stadium.
The architects should know what they are doing(you hope we'd employ ones with experience) and be able to provide a stadium up to a good standard.
