I do feel for the Leeds fans. If we're both only getting 6.5k cup tickets, just think of all the glory supporting Leeds fans who won't be able to go.

Thing is, they probably won't get tickets cause our 7,000 allocation will go within the first 48 hours when they're on sale solely to season ticket holders.

I can't understand this decision whatsoever. Potentially there could be more at the league game the following week than the semi final, of which it will be no fault of the genuine fan.



The numbers don't add up.



Leeds season ticket holders - 10 or 11 thousand ? - allocated 7k. Therefore, some ticket holders may miss out and the club may sell all their allocation within 24 hours - no general tickets available.



Cas - how many season ticket holders are there ? - 2 or 3 thousand of our allocation left for general sale on Friday morning ?



The situation could be :- 2 or 3 thousand tickets available from Cas only, or by internet application with a demand of 4k Cas and 4k Leeds ?



Do you think the Castleford club will have gone beyond the thought that the remaining tickets may not be sold to Castleford supporters ?



The RFL could be denying supporters (in both semi finals) the opportunity to go to the game. Can someone explain the business sense in these stadium choices ?

It should have been held at the Galpharm, that way with the 24,500 capacity it would be more than enough for supporters from both clubs and also neutrals could attend



Huddersfield Town are playing on the Saturday at home but it can easily withstand a game of RL the next day

And people queuing outside the shop from 5:30am!!

Long queue at Carlton Lane this morning, took two hours to get my tickets.



Also long queue reported from the club shop at the ground too...off to a good start

Had mine around 10am this morning was down at the club shop for 9am and I was stood at around the first set of gates in the Wheldon Road Stand when I first got there and by the time I left they were further back than that!



Can't see many if any being available on general release come Friday!

To be honest, the speed the Headingley ticket office works at, I'm amazed they've got through 1000 orders in the first week....

Not sure, but I will be taking the day off and camping out to get them

Word has it Wembley is a bit bigger than the Keepmoat.





I thought I wasn't going to be able to go to Wembley last year, but then plans changed and I got a ticket at about 7 days' notice.

Me too I got a phone call from a friend who ended up with a spare on the Thursday evening! Thing is they were already on there way down for a long weekend.

Strange,I walked up at 8.30,and some women were already there,just,and we were the first five in the queue.

I hold my hand up here with the venue. Highly critical of the RFL ground choice, but they were right, I can't believe it isn't a sellout.



That's why they get paid lots of money to make these sort of decisions and I don't.

I knew that this would be the case. It is just the way that it is with the Challenge Cup nowadays. People don't seem too keen for paying for anything other than their season tickets.

It will be a cracking atmosphere in a great stadium. Not as big as Huddersfield but definately better.
