yes both teams run at a loss, like most rl teams do, yours has just had a big cash injection from selling your ground, but that money wont last for ever, especially when your only pulling in the support that you do. The big concern for wakefield has to be not only can they get a new ground but how many are going to travel to an out of town stadium when they are really struggling to pull in crowds to a ground in the city? I mean you've had your best ever sl season and crowds have been dangerously low (even when you've been putting money in for offers and x factor/pop idol/ britains got talent or whatever singers to play/sing before hand) if you have a bad season next year you could be in real trouble. Hopefully wakefield will get there new ground and somehow manage to increase crowds even though the ground will be out of town, though both those things are going to be difficult.

Wakefield missed the first 3 seasons of SL, the first season was out of our control, after we was evicted from the SL project in a act of gross injustice.



Castleford have missed 2 seasons of SL due to not been able to cut it on the field. Two embarrassing relegations, on both occasions the fatal blow coming from Wakefield.



You also have to consider Castleford great fortune in staying in SL. If the franchise system hadn't been introduced Cas would of been relegated last season, which imo would of been justice. You should be punished not rewarded for having such an uncompetitive season.



A change in the rules for play off qualifying also benefited Cas, any other year a 8th place finish would got you jack!



Wakefield are a better club, deal with it!

Are we still on for that November start date for the construction of the stadium Gaslight? You were certainly doing some spouting on here a few months ago about it. Time to wake up and face reality buddy!

Cas had their own destiny in their own hands. Finish bottom (excluding Catalans) and you go down. Everybody knew this the rules were set and everyone knew the score.
