I can assure you I'm not arguing about the Mathers incident because as I stated I haven't seen it. My comment about a Wigan fan having a gripe against Mathers was in relation to the tripe that was spoken about him and Gleeson from Wigan and Warrington fans about both players when they switched clubs.



And as for my sig, I changed that after the semi last year when a couple of Wigan fans went on the Warrington boards calling all Warrington fans scum. I probably should have changed it but completely forgot about it. Maybe I'll wait till after the result on Sat.





As for the topic, I said at the time and still feel the same now that there was nothing in the Morley incident, the initial contact was certainly not high. As for Carvell, probably should have got 2-3 matches. The 1 match ban was a joke. The fact he won an appeal is nothing short of pathetic on the part of the RFL.

So what do you think about Sherwin and his miracle recovery as soon as play was stopped after Morley's "decapitation" attempt.



From flat-out motionless to back on his feet in two seconds without treatement. How many matches does Sherwin deserve for this?

Must have been a different video to the one I saw,I was sure he cuffed him on the head and from the side!

The video evidence clearly shows the initial contact on Sherwins upper torso the bouncing up to head height. This isn't a high tackle and is something that happens in lots of tackles at all levels of rugby.



If Fielden does exactly the same thing to Briers tomorrow my response will be the same. I'm certainly not a biased fan and don't let emotions get in the way of clear thinking.

To be fair at the speed the game is played it's not easy to tell. The benefit of a slowed down video is a wonderful thing. When I first saw the Morley incident I thought it was bad until slowed down.



Likewise with regard to the Carvell incident I thought initially there was nothing in it, until I saw a slower version.

I'd just like to congratulate the RFL on letting Adrian Morley throw away his team's match against Wigan tonight, much worse punishment than if he'd been allowed to put his feet up...
