ex leeds player told me McDermott is a real smart coach. he misses nothing and is so much better than he comes across.
where he fails is skills coaching. he can't, and doesn't, coach it.
thing is nobody else does either and that is obviously a big issue.

Thought at one stage he might have made the grade. Powell seems to have the knack of improving these sort of players, be interesting to see the outcome.

That's why I would have someone like Burrow or possibly McGuire moving into the skills coaching role next year if they hang up their playing boots Tad.
