Arthur saying how disappointed he is with the last 20 and rightly so.Also getting a dig in on Connor saying something about the pretty stuff but he doesn`t want pretty players he wants graft which I think is a bit unfair on Connor who was clearly MoM and creates something out of nothing.Prefer him in the halves alongside Croft with Miller at FB and Handley on the wing.Gannon to LF and well played Bentley and Sinfield who I thought did well against a poor Castleford.

Don't think he was that harsh on Connor. He said a lot of very complementary things about him, and clearly recognises his talent. Because of that, I think he expects more from him, and ultimately we can hope that the "tough love" approach will help Connor to finally consistently play to his potential. One player who is really dissapointing me at present is McDonnell. For a second row who lacks size and pace he is responsible for far too many mistakes and penalties. Off contract at the end of the year and at the moment he's not making a case for his retention.

Brad always has a criticism to make about Connor, more so than any other player it seems. I've a sneaking suspicion that's because he's working hardest on developing him. Pet project if you like.

Agree. I certainly wouldn't put money on him dropping him. When Miller gets fit I think he's effectively fighting it out with Frawley for a place in the starting 13. If Connor retains his form he'll either be full back or halfback.
