His only chance is for Gale to be side lined with injury.

He had plenty of opportunities - sadly it would appear he is one that looked great as a junior but hasn't been able to make the transition. Perhaps badly advised by his agent too.

Agree. Would not write him off yet personally. Could see him going somewhere and it coming back to bite us.

That would be the sensible option. He needs game time to progress and lawd knows he isnt getting that at Leeds when everyones fit.

iirc he was the higher rated out of him and Trueman at Cas and RU clearly saw some star quality in him so did Kev and Agar. I totally agree he’s not shown enough but the trouble is most of the time he’s played in a poor team particularly in the forwards dept who lay the platform for the halves so he hasn’t really had chance to shine. He’d have to be Joey John’s or Alfie Langer to stand out in some of the teams we’ve fielded in recent seasons when Mclelland has been playing.

I worry his lack of pace will be the issue, as he's too small to make up for that....

The annoying thing is that he would be paying now if it wasn't for his injury. Can't see that window appearing again....

I personally think that the club may extend his deal giving him another opportunity since they paid a fee to get him back into RL. I do think Luis days at Leeds are numbered mind and that he may even leave mid year if an opportunity arises.

Not sure who rated him higher than Trueman but ive heard that said a lot. Trueman is top drawer.
