Been a bit of a shambles on the cricket side of things with them not being able to manage any play at all over 4 days to a wet outfield from poor drainage even though it hasn't rained for a lot of those 4 days. Wasn't work done on that when the joint stand was knocked down before the temporary stand was put up?

Not a pic, but looking at the back of the stand from some distance (a hill in Hyde Park) I could see that they are filling in the gaps between the steelwork.

Most of the roof has been done on the South as well

seeing tantalizing glimpses of both unfinished stands on footage of the recent game I think its going to look great on TV when its finished

They show the North Stand construction from the other side, a couple of the new South Stand, including one showing the first bits of brickwork they've put in, and a mysterious small foundation they've laid in the corner of the South Stand car park...Any idea what it's to be?



They were also re-painting the yellow safety areas above the opened standing bit in the South Stand today. Are they getting ready to put seats in that area?

Yep, thats the new turnstile block for the south stand. All the turnstiles will be grouped together on that part of St Michaels Lane, similar to, but smaller than, those on Kirkstall Lane.

I thought the turnstiles were going to be in line with the fencing and wall in place already? Just replacing this but still having a car park in place.
