It's a shame I never felt we quite got the Tom Briscoe who represented England to be honest, he looked awesome for a season or two but he is a professional, solid winger and very consistent. Part of the issue we've had is a side that's been struggling for years down the middle, and he hasn't had great service.



Really hope Broadbent makes it with Leeds. If he can improve that physical side and work hard in D then I don't see why not. I always felt he had the class while Newman had the showmanship - great pairing between them.



Walters has the potential to become an international without a doubt; think he'll be around the first team side in 2021. We are blessed for talented back rowers right now, it's a good position to be in.

Props are the priority for us now imo

Prop is the only position we should be looking at.

Briscoe has been absolutely brilliant for us. Personally I think people got far too carried away on the other side of the field, when in truth Briscoe at times was every bit as important and better for many a game. However, the key point is "has been", and right now where we are this is yet again poor management on the recruitment and squad front. This is not the same Briscoe and we should be moving on.



In all honesty, me personally I still think he is better than the other wing, but that doesn't make it right to keep him, and I repeat we should have moved on.

We might not have the budget to move on Gotcha. Keeping Tom could well be the best option which leaves us room to go get a really good prop etc. He’s been in good form this season and I think it’s a decent move in the current circumstances.

Briscoes workrate is far from first rate, handley is streets ahead of him in most aspects.

I want a proper prop; not Cuthbertson, Prior, Merrin etc but more of a Garbutt when he first came.
