surely we can fee Austin iff Quota as he qualifies/has a British passport



Honestly think the quota needs seriously looking at. Love to see it at 5 no exemptions except maybe for long service, say 5 years at one club or 8 at more than one club.



Far far too many overseas players in our game.

Despite some of the rumours I'd be stunned if centre wasn't the number one priority. If Prior were to leave that would free up cap and a quota space. My next priority would be an up and coming halfback, as we don't have much depth there and its possible that we'll need to replace one or even both of Austin/Sezer in 2024.

Pity would have been a huge improvement and let’s face it anything is an improvement on nothing

I'm pleased we are not signing Gildart, he's not physically big enough and his defence doesn't stand up to scrutiny.



We do need to sign a starting left Centre though.

So with Gildart announced at the Dolphins, which to be honest I’m glad about because his defence is terrible, I had to try get an update, which I got. A contract was definitely offered but obviously the Dolphins blew that out of the water because ours wasn’t a big one. Williame is on the list and Leeds prefer him, Nene isn’t out of it yet and a shock move for Lafai. I also get the impression with some cryptic wording that Leeds really aren’t happy with Tetevano’s performances. There could be movement there and I will welcome that as I think he is a massive waste and I can’t stand him taking up a quota and marquee.

Any further news on the potential swap deal??

IF we could lose Prior and Tetevano and say bring in Nene and the prop from Leigh who have both worked with Rohan before then I reckon most of us would be very very pleased with that

No news as of yet. I did ask, but there wasn’t any. I will pester more later this week.

Whilst I agree I`m not sure we can match the contracts Leigh are offering their players and at this stage Leigh don`t need to get rid of their overseas players.

Maybe Wakefield might take Tetavano as they need more forwards and have space for more overseas signings.

Binning both Prior and Tetavano would be a dream come true and we can only hope.
