We seem to struggle to keep props and hookers over thr last 7 years

Playing in a well coached side makes all the difference. Hopefully we'l see for ourselves in the second half of this season.

And it's only now off the back of a game or two folk are asking why we let him go.

A few did ? It at the time. I’d trade all 3 of our hookers for Matty Parcell…,

I wondered at the time why we released him, not on the back of a couple of recent games either. I heard a rumour he was a trouble maker around the dressing room, which I find hard to believe. I would have him over Leeming and Dwyer anytime

Might be wrong, but I think he was released to create room on the quota to bring the likes of Martin and Lui in. Got to remember that both of those were extremely influential in keeping us up in 2019.

Wasn't it originally a swop loan deal with Lunt coming to you?

Seemed a very strange arrangement at the time as both players seemed to be playing well at their respective clubs.

Could well be remebering this completely incorrectly so apologies in advance.

Neither was playing well tbf. Lunt was coming back from a lay off and Parcell was only appearing on our bench and doing very little for us. We had to free a cap spot up to bring in Martin and Lui with Tui and Parcell making way.



I agree tho that Parcell is better than any of our current hookers but he wasnt doing it for us and hadnt for a while in truth.

It is a mystery all these players not doing it for us then moving away to better success...

What does that tell you. Coaching and lack of vision to me……
