Leicester Southampton and probably Middlesbrough imo just because they all will be far more settled which is an important factor. Forget 1-11 on paper. Leeds were the worst team in the PL last season and the squad has only got weaker, manager apart. Apparently a new keeper is incoming shortly. We need a good 10 and 9 urgently.

On paper we might have a decent looking squad but I would say we are nowhere near top 6.

The squad is too inexperienced for me and needs some seasoned pros like Charlie Taylor, a Connor Coady type along with experience in midfield and up front.

but this is a very average championship. to me it's who we bring in. to say we wont make top 10 I find ludicrous.

Bookies have them as 4th favourites for promotion including automatic. Quite short odds for promotion.



I think unless we get some quality in, especially up front and midfield, we will do well to get any higher than playoff positions.

There's still 5 weeks of the transfer window yet. It's impossible to say what most of the squads will look like, and who'll finish where at this point.

I think that`s key to where teams will finish Jack.

We might bring in several new signings that would bolster our chances of going up and other teams might lose players that would have helped them gain promotion.

My only concern would be the amount of ground we would have to make up on teams at the top until we get those signings.

If we can win half our games by the end of the deadline then that would certainly help.

Hard to get a lot of new signings to gel if they don't have much of a pre season together also... i thought we'd see some signings following quite quickly on the back of Ampadu last Monday but it's not quite getting going as yet.
