Given that it was only announced a few days ago (thus probably arranged with the club that he would come to the game) the more likely outcome is he got pi$$ed up Xmas day and stayed in bed hungover rather than attend a 11:30am kick off.

According to a chat I had with Willie Poching, Ryan is on track to make his Rovers debut in the friendly against Warrington - the Hull game might be too early.



The cautionary boot he has been wearing (achilles strain) comes off next week and he will attend Rovers warm weather training in Portugal.



Since Ryan joined Rovers he has not missed a training session (without permission) and played an active role in the clubs community and sponsors visits.

Good job your warm weather training is in the EU otherwise I doubt that Ryan's "injury" would have allowed him to travel.

Heard another rumour that 3 ghosts visited him on Xmas Eve and told him that he is a lazy, useless who could nt break the skin on a rice pudding never mind a decent line and stole a wage frm the club for years. with regards to players being scared of him,do keep an eye out for the salford teamsheet next season when you play them because if bailey see's liam hoods name on there he could have a muscle strain in the warm up,he might say it was his hamstring but it will more likely to be his sphincter

I think both JP and Kylie have already considered retirement but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Bailey... more to do with the fact that they have a combined age of nearly 80.

No sign of Bailey in a HKR shirt in pre-season games. Not missing training already ?

Read on their website that he was struggling with an Achilles injury and was likely to miss all the preseason games and was a doubt to be fit for the opener......so unlikely we'll be facing him.

He was also missing from the Hull KR team photo, due to illness.
