I'd certainly agree that from where I'm sat the non-inclusion of Burgess, assuming he's now available, seems rather odd, but I'm again not willing to rule out the possibility that Smith knows something I don't.

Personally, I hoped Smith's silly selections in big games had ended last year, however it seems he has not learned from his previous errors in judgement. In my mind we are now huge underdogs tomorrow, and for one thing if I was a player I would be majorly pi$$ed off if I lost second spot on the last day due to a crackpot coach.

Would you want your coach to throw away the rules that every other team member has abided by all season just to accommodate the one miscreant because you're a bit short with injuries? Or would you expect your coach to be consistent in the way he applies disciplinary matters?

We are going in to the game with only 2 recognized props, I'd be amazed if that didn't bite us on the ar$e especially against Wakefields physical pack.
