Don`t think we will get a new winger but we live in hope.

Doesn't mean they shouldn't pick up a ban or two.

really getting excited about this game.think saints will have a bit much but they arent in top form and the week off might not help.

first 20 is the key. stay in the game and keep going. like I say saints favourites, and rightly so, but its a one off game.

Everybody is expecting Leeds to lose and Saints to win. We have no pressure on us while all the pressure is on them.



I think we need Gale back to realistically have a chance of winning, not sure what the chances of him playing are.

We need points from somewhere. Myler at full back, Gale in the halves and some punch from one or both centres would be timely.

Suddenly looks a really tidy team that doesn't it. Shame wigan are so far off the mark as having Saints/Leeds/Wigan/Wire/Catalans(/Hull KR?) all strong next year would be great for the league.

Hopefully Saints and Catalans are gonna feel the pressure this week

A fair few teams have recruited well despite the the parlous financial climate, so fingers crossed that with the pandemic on the outs, the fans get back to the grounds and 2022 starts with a bang. Fridays game has that genuine big match feel about it. Really looking forward to it.

Interesting game this one.

Obviously Saints should win as they’re at home, finished way above us, and have minimal injuries.



But



If we manage to get an early hit on Walmsley (as Kylie used to do for us in big games) we have a chance. A tough game vs Wigan is in our favour now. I’d rather have that behind me than a week off. Saints could blow us away in first 20, but if we hang on there you just never know.......

I think instead of trying to contain them for the first 20 we should go at them all guns blazing.

They rested a fair few for their last game and have had a week off so could be under cooked.

Hit them hard and go for the jugular get a big enough lead and defend for our lives.

Wouldn't Liam Tindall be the winger? Can't see Gale playing again for Leeds - Looks a strong side backed up by some good youngsters - distribution from hooker is still not where it needs to be for a top side

Yes the first 20m is important but to beat Saints going to have to be on it for the full 80

Leeds have repeatedly said Gale is staying and Austin has been brought in as utility cover and accepts that role on a cheaper salary. Not sure why people think differently.

It's bizarre isn't it. The plan for 2022 is really clear, to have quality depth across the park so we aren't exposed in the way we have been this season. Gale as one of three top quality half backs is integral to that.

Yep absolutely. One or more of the three will have injury at some point next year no doubt. We are trying to build resiliency in every position.



I am on the fence on this game. We are in with a chance, but Saints are probably good enough to take it out of our hands if they want to.



Big thing for me is no stupid forward passes, dropped balls and silly discipline issues especially in the early phases. It will annoy me if we give the game to them easily and we have got that in us sometimes. If we play tight we’re difficult for any side. I just think we’ll miss Gale too much.

It will depend on the coach I suppose are we staying with Agar or is he moving upstairs?



I see the point if we have injuries - I cant see how Gale and Sezer play together - I see how Austin plays with either. time will tell.
