Apparently he's been offered great deal to stay in UK.

Odd seen as he wants to go to the NRL.





And I can't see our board throwing silly money at Potter.



I'd be happy with him as our head coach, better than most names thrown about apart from Noble.

If he's been offered a good deal to stay in the UK it might not necessarily the Bulls that are offering it.



Still, if we were to get Potter I'd be happy.

I'd be surprised if we've made a decision before the closing date for applications! I'll take this with a pinch of salt I think.

Was he suffering from the same sort of homesickness that Ben Jeffries experienced on leaving Wakefield to return to Oz?

We would be foolish NOT to at least make enquiries about Potter. For one thing, he's an old boy and knows the place and the people. For another, he has excellent connections 'down under' quite apart from being a bit of a legend in his own right.

His playing achievements don't tend to get much press here.

Reading Long's comments yesterday it did seem more Saints decision than Potter's, which would indicate the 'going back to Aus' excuse is just that. I would like to see him at Odsal, seems a top bloke & has Saints firing ATM.

Aye, the thing we keep getting told about people only ever leaving Wakefield for money. It's entirely believable obviously.



He's playing well again? How long will that last? Since he re-joined you, we've already been told by you lot that he was the second coming (at the start of the season), then going missing (a few games in) and now he's back to playing well again. Almost like the inconsistent player you all told us he was when he left you the first time.



Wait until he leaves again, you'll then go back to saying how overrated and inconsistent he is.

Absolutely squire he was playing out of his skin till some thug from Hudds took him out at our place, and was injured for a few weeks' but he's back to his best now thanks. Hopefully you will see what you have let go on Friday night, btw if he has a bad one dont expect to hear about it from me on here

If it were at Odsal, I'd say he would, since he did plenty of it last year after a cracking start to the season.

Now I'd expect to see Cooke & Obst in the halves with Leo-Latu & Davey doing the hooking.

could be to our advantage as they wont be familiar with each others playing style. OTOH it could really bite us if they click and cooke plays a blinder, As he hasnt really impressed at wakey yet and will be looking for a big performance.
