Wouldn't that be preferring one class of unsecured creditors? Not sure how happy HMRC for example would be about that. Unless you believe a bidder is about who'll pay the debt in full. I don't even have dreams that are that crazy

A deal won't have been done but i'm sure that there is a front runner (preferred bidder). I think some people have taken that and run with it.

Instead of just saying everything above is rumour or hearsay some of you actually try and justify the rumour and hearsay as fact.....oh and surely the phrase is 11th hour. 12th hour could mean after the deadline in administrator speak....which could mean that there was not much being offered prior to the deadline so they have had to extend it.

League express online is saying 3 bids submitted before deadline,administrator is saying commercial decision to extend deadline to get best deal for club.

That's an auction, not sealed bids. The administrator should not be disclosing details of other parties' bids.

Survey the administrator will want the deal to be done before the next pay day.

It appears to me that the bids put in so far fall short of paying off all the creditors - hence the openness to further bids being accepted after the deadline.

If I was in for it I wouldn't put a bid in without offering to pay all creditors except green.



I think the way it's headed we are in for been disappointed.
