Unpopular, yes. Lots of people will not like it. But most people will probably agree with it. Myself included.

| 7 1/2 weeks. I was wondering how long this would take. Whole range of emotion from Bulls fans, but I would admit rage is one of them. Against our owners & the RFL & the (admittedly few)sanctimonious fans from elsewhere. And the desire to do as much damage to the RFL as we go down & take them with us is there, deep down.

| For the RFL to ask for new owners to give personal financial assurances / guarantees that fixtures will be fulfilled for next 3 seasons they effectively restricted the process to 'money men' and removed the scope for an effective community interest approach with a prudent business plan.
A bit of a shame because it seems most supporters in most sports would rather see an approach ran by prudent business people with a model deep rooted in the community. Governing Bodies need to get real and start encouraging the development of sustainable clubs that serve their communities .

| I really hope new buyers are found and Bradford take their place, but having looked at the RFL requirements I'm not sure how quickly that can be done.
However, assuming it is sorted in the next few weeks I think there is an argument that Bradford's start to the season is delayed a couple of weeks to allow time to get a team together....I don't know how feasible that will be.
I would also hope that all other clubs will offer a few players for loans to help get the club going, especially in the short term.
Is starting in the Championship a certainty or could the club still start in League 1?

The Bulls current set up and the Bulls RFL proposed set will only avoid going back into administration when the owner(s) can no longer get borrow anymore cash or put off paying for things if the person/people in charge a a top business person with loads of cash/a consortium of top business people with loads of cash.
Unfortunately those sorts of people would not find either proposition attractive as there is no return likely from it. If they took on things like those they wouldn't be top business people with loads of cash.
Instead it's attractive to other kinds of people and it's just doomed to failure.
It's like pulling off a plaster for the RFL this. Rip it off its bad but then you can move on. Continue to tug away at it and prolong the agony.

| The correspondence from RFL make it clear that they want owners to keep club in championship. Which means new owners need to pay championship wages. Difficult when you have previous debts, reduced grant and a lease to pay.
If one or two of those factors weren't there then the proposition of delivering RL in Bradford could comfortably break even or turn a profit.

I'm not sure too many will disagree to be honest. I would be very surprised if anyone came on and said that Rugby League in this country was better now then its ever been. Crowds are down, quality is way down, there is still only realistically 3 or 4 teams that are ever going to win anything, the salary cap has had the opposite effect - rather then levelling the playing field, it has made the gulf between the haves and haves nots even bigger. Those who can afford it, find a way round it with no consequences, yet the RFL pretend that its not happening and all teams have the same to spend on their squads.
I feel the whole system is broken now, and I'm not sure there is a way back.

Not sure but he's definitely got some kind of agenda. It's pretty f*cking irritating to be honest.

I have a mate on the same caravan site that he goes to and he's been involved in the bidding process with some pie in the sky plan for "fan involvement", whatever that means.

| Given the criteria laid out by the RFL for new ownership and the current situation regarding playing and coaching staff there is absolutely no chance of a new owner being found. It's just not practically possible.

Rfl seem stuck between a rock and a hard place.
If they set the bar to low your club ends up in administration if they set it to high no one is prepared to put the money in

| I'd be interested to know how a club could break even. I think that's impossible without substantial injections of cash to cover the ground upkeep. A SL club couldn't manage it with crowds of 10k.
Fantasy. Especially to expect supporter input after all the upset of the past 5 years.
This club is dead unless someone like a Ken Davy is prepared to prop it up or if it moves to a new home. Even then I have my doubts. Where would a new club go? Horsfall? If so it would be resigned to a part time future in front of crowds of a few hundred with no way of aspiring to anything better.
I see parallels with Hudders in the 80s. A club with a proud history but fallen on hard times playing in an antiquated stadium.

They're panicking I doubt the long term future of the club has come into their thinking right now.
They always seem to be firefighting and this is no different.

| Interesting quote from Welham in the Guardian today.
Welham: "We were getting no answers to these questions from the people in charge of the administration and, to make matters worse, we were getting fed lies from people who said they knew what was happening all the time."
Stu Duffy as GM told the players the club would be the richest in Rugby League. The players, my son included all bought it and look what happend. False hope is dangerous.

Ken Davy wouldn't invest in our club. He may be generous on the face of it with the Giants but he's also not stupid.
His own company have offices at the ground (they used to not sure if they still do). He made a few quid out of selling town and their shares in the ground on.
The current Bulls lost over a million quid in year one of green's tenure and it was the year we went down so the cash wasn't spent on players. That is completely unsustainable.
Speaking of green seen the Instagram post from Alex Simmons today? First meeting of the Yorkshire spurs fan club (Leeds Spurs). With a photo of its members. Simmons, some other bloke and that piece of green.

| What happened to the guy with the waste processing plant proposal ?
WTF did the RFL not agree to a 3 way deal, RFL & 2 interested parties ?
Sell the lease to the $hithole to the waste guy, he buys the land & stadium from Bradford Council, he bulldozes the lot & builds his plant.
RFL get ££££ for lease & agree Bulls can groundshare & start 2017 in CH1 with new owner & ground share somewhere affordable.
Promote the highest placed CH1 Club to take Bulls slot.
Council get money, RFL get money, Bulls get to survive & rebuild properly, albeit from CH1, whats the £€CK!N' problem ? Everyone is satisfied (at differing levels).
Is this too simplistic a view or completely unworkable ?
Yours in sport.

Its ridiculous how toxic your club is. The rfl should never have got involved with the clubs problems but they did..
What more is there to say until some one genuine steps forward?
