Lynch, Sykes and Burgess are clearly good enough. I also think it's fair to say that if Hape could pull his finger out, he [iwould be[/i a more dangerous centre than the somewhat ageing centres at Saints and Leeds... Some of the others such as Langley, Newton, Nero and Morrison [ishouldn't be [/itoo far away, if they played to their full potential.



I think [ion paper [/iour squad isn't too far behind those of Saints & Leeds, but the squad's not performing anything like as well as it should be.

From an outsiders point of view (HKR fan), I think the reality of the fact you have recruited very poorly is not really something you have digested. Signing a bunch of lower/mid-table players will rapidly turn you into a lower/mid-table team.



You have a great front and back row when full strength, but your backs (bar Hape) are woeful and your half-backs are falling way behind SL's elite.



The man to blame for this poor recruitment is Steve McNamara and until he attracts genuine "A-list" stars, then you will find yourselves as a bottom-half side for years to come given the recruitment of sides such as Wire and Rovers...

i would go for Morrison over Ellis - even though he is the "wrong side of 30", IMO he is one of the best second rowers in the world, although its a hard choice as so is Ellis.

It is very close, but obviously i would be bias towards Morrison lmao.

One is a youthful Brit at the pinnacle of his career, the other is an ageing overseas quota player with his best years behind him

I know it's not always fair to overlap seasons results.



But it still must be a concern. 18 games is too long a period to be considered a bad patch IMO. 18 games is pretty much 2/3 of a season 7 wins isn't even top 6 form.



Platt started off excellently last season, but has gone down. Is the poster who said he hasn't scored in nearly a year correct?



That's strange considering bulls try to play a more open game and platt is pacey.



Bradford made a promising start under Mcnamara, but it seems to have gradually got worse. But then, it's a bit of an enigma because when you think abuot it the bulls didn't do too badly last season, unlucky not to get top 2 cc semi and a brain fart in the playoffs.
