A "merged" club would [ieither[/i play in Halifax [ior[/i play in Bradford. Where it played would be the team it really was.



If we "merged" with Halifax but the games were played in Halifax, to me Bradford would no longer exist and I'd have no interest at all in trailing to Halifax to watch the "merged" team, even if it was all the same players, and called Bradfordsox Bulls.



You can't fool the denizens of a town or city by using the word "merger" when in reality it would be nothing of the sort.



The stuff about pinching fans, or young players, is bollox too. As someone else said, and I agree, fans will choose where to go and spend their money. And the obvious (but opaque to thickos) point remains - someone trails from Halifax to watch Bradford does NOT mean they'd watch Halifax if Bradford disappeared. These fools assume that someone used to watch Halifax, but was seduced into coming to Bradford. I mean, you only have to read it to laugh at the absurdity.



And the thought that a kid who started life at a club should jolly well be obliged to play for it forever is the biggest load of bollox of all.

No seriously, I'd rather they were in SL. If not purely because it's an away game that I can get home from quicker coz it's closer than any other away match.

TBH I don't hate fax. I don't really think about them in anyway.

I often long for the days of snowy winter derbies up at Thrum Hall, and there was always an absolutely cracking atmosphere whenever we played but especially away.



Good lot, the Halifax and personally I'm really pleased to see how well theyre doing. Mind you they should be bloody grateful that we sent them Agent Calland, who seems to have done the trick.

Don't hate them, think them going down has robbed us of a traditional big gate. I am a bit dubious about this one fan's actions, as I guess some of the parents of the kids at the school where he works/worked might be.
