| Binned sky after 20 odd years admittedly the cost of living had some say but I could no longer stand listening to the cast especially, the scarecrow (wells) bungling bill (Arthur) can't understand a word (Pyke) boring (O'connor) No Minerals (w ank*r Wilkin) oh and the sky sports table that wobbles everytime Carney leans on it, I just want to put a beer mat under it, 10 pence production !
Channel 4 it is.

| There is an urgent need to sort out the Sky coverage, I hope IMG can encourage them in the right direction:
Bill Arthur: no, just not good enough to be the lead commentator, sorry. Can anyone recall one memorable piece of commentary from him?
Terry & Barrie: tried, and failed, to be Stevo replacements. But they've got to go.
These are the biggest problems. Clarke can go for me too but he's at least coherent.
Most of the rest are ok: Carney is fine as presenter, Wells is the best of the bunch, Brooks is good for sideline stuff, Wilkin is ok I suppose (but should be kept away from St Helens games).

| I too have binned off sky. The only thing I watched on sky sports was the rugby- and I can’t justify the cost to listen to that biased clueless bunch of pr*cks any longer.
Sick of seeing the same teams, and listening to the same sycophantic drivel.
I go to watch my own team play- and if I want to watch the game back can access it via my club for an annual fee a fraction of the cost of what I was paying sky.
Anything else I’m really not interested in any longer. Well done RFL /superleague you’ve downgraded the game to that level.
Channel 4 have done a much better job all round. All they need to do now is get a regular weekly slot and they’ve cracked it!

Scrap that I'll be at Huddersfield so not actually watching it on the box at all. Although I hope I want to watch it on catchup later on !

Not all the fault of Sky. The RFL pandering to the clubs with zero ambition that just want a share of the cash without doing any of the work hasn't helped.

sorry but no. teams with ambition have tried to grow crowds, they've put plenty of work into marketing a family game on a sunday or a friday night out and sold season tickets on the back of fixture lists that come out in November only for sky to come along and undo all the hard work and leave them with an unworkable mess.
we dont know whether we are playing thursday friday saturday or sunday, the odd monday or wednesday thrown in for good measure, and suddenly a season ticket might not be a great value idea if theres 4 or 5 games you might not be able to make in a season.
would they buy tickets to a gig or the theatre without knowing when the performance was? - no but they expect us to!

| I think the Sky presentation team, apart from Carney, need a complete overhaul. As said by others, JJB is a real enthusiast for our game and very knowledgeable but you can barely understand a word he is saying. Super dull Bill is just appalling and Tez is worse than that. Wells, Clarkey and Barry are just about bearable but a major refresh is desperately needed.
Agree with Jools, the fixture date movement doesn't help and Thursday night games are a real crowd killer especially when it is two teams from different sides of the pennines.

We need SKY to get European football back off BT as the Europa League and Conference would keep them busy on Thursday's. Sadly the Premier League muscled in on our Saturday teatime slot that used to work well in my eyes, enjoyed going to a game then having a Saturday night out for afters.

Doesn't seem to matter with football crowds. You don't see Anfield all of a sudden half empty because the game is moved to 12.30 or to a Monday night.
Thursday nights are terrible say RL fans. Other sports still fill their grounds though.
