Is there really need for a 12 page thread on the same thing every other week and on each individual board as well?



I quite like the attention to be honest, must mean we're a massive club now.

Haven't seen a statement from James Rule about ticket sales if that's who you are referring to, although there was a press release form Widnes saying advance ticket sales were at a record level at no point did it mention a record crowd.



With regards to Ste O'Connor he's just going about his business in a quiet way, how many times did it show him last night on Sky? How many times did we get to see the good Doctor? He's even had a mascot made to look like him, but it's all about the sport not just feeding his ego isn't it.



With regards to the video link, I've never spotted SOC in our dugout on matchdays, he has no reason to be there as he is neither a sub or part of the matchday coaching/physio team. I am surprised the Doctor managed to be there in the first place, if for no other reason that it would have been a nightmare for him to fit his head into such a confined space.

I presume the last comment was a bit sarcastic?



Maybe it is a bit of an overreaction from other fans, but at least it has got fans talking about RL.



I like the Dr and I honestly think he is trying to help Salford and RL, although I think he has gone about it the wrong way and has acted a bit naively in a few things he has said. Needs to stop making excuses for the defeats also, this week it is injuries and the ref.

Agree he does say some things (as do our fans) that make me cringe, but that’s just how is. He is the best thing that’s ever happened in the recent history of Salford RLFC so I can forgive some of out fans going a little over the top, we've sen nothing but crap for 30-40 years!



The reaction of other fans is priceless, the so called smaller club with their Jealousy and the larger clubs scared that we may upset the status quo at the top , RL fans like things the way they are, they like the same teams contesting finals and they like the same teams scrapping at the bottom. Every team in the league would like a Koukash no matter what they say.

I not convinced, personally I would rather have a Hetherington, someone who knows and loves the game, someone who thinks long term, which I am not sure DK has.



Salford IMO should have appointed a young coach who could coach them long term like Harris or Powell. Most of the signings have been short term, surely it would have been better keeping and playing Sneyd than signing Smith.

I saw a lot of people last year congratulating a different team, Huddersfield on finishing top so not sure that's entirely true.

and tonight they will get their just desserts.



As much as Leeds can be annoying they will put he Giants back in their place.

From a personal perspective I like Koukash.



I hope salford can become a top team in the same way warrington have over the last 6 years, but it will take time I hope koukash has the patience.

Point of order. I support quite possibly the smallest club in SL. Our owner has invested £13,000,000 in 5 years....I am not jealous of another clubs owner wasting his cash in a similar fashion. Salford haven't bought 1 "star" player, but instead, picked up some damaged goods and past it names. As a result, all you have to show for it is 2 points against the smallest team in the league who are odds on for relegation and a scrappy win over the other relegation favourites...it's not jealousy you think you can hear, it's laughter. Widnes are at best 8th placed this year and they beat you.....God help you when you go to a top 4 club.....other than Wakefield, London and Bradford, I think you'll struggle to pick up more than one or two other wins this year.

I have spent many an hour in the company of various SL (and lower league) chairmen and the Doctor is a breath of fresh air. His passion for the game knows no bounds and I for one hope he stays in RL

Bit harsh that gutterfax lad, just because your owner p[ii[/issed that money away doesn't mean Koukash will, anyone with half a brain could have told Hughes he was wasting his money all them years back. Salford have at least a reasonable amount of potential if the good doctor is more realistic about both his short and long term goals which at the moment he isn't IMO.



A note for any other Super League clubs, if you want to get under his skin whack on the doctor who tune (if you win of course



) and make sure your hospitality is very poor for the away officials. He didn't like ours one bit even though he advertises going to Salford as going to 'Hell'.

Bloody hell, im pretty sure there will be a fair few squeeky bums and lighter wallets if the RFL suddenly starts clamping down on people swearing

I didn't realise that club owners could be fined for their opinions about the RFL. I know they can be banned, etc, from owning clubs - the former Barrow owner for example has been so banned - and that's fair enough as owners can ruin clubs. But to fine one for expressing an opinion, regardless how colourful, smacks a bit of someone needing reassurance about the size of their willy?

Well done RFL trying to silence someone who has raised the sports Media profile more in twelve months than the clowns at Red Hall have done in years.
