Only kidding, that's a terrible crowd for a quarter final in a heartland town. A game that has no teams in this country sold out Wembley last week, tickets were all at least £80 a pop. Something has gone badly wrong with the marketing and venue choices of this world cup

Yep the 5k in 2013 was in Wrexham for Australia-USA as Wales completely flopped and spoilt the script of having a Quarter final at home.



Huddersfield may be the games birthplace and its a good ground but the Town just doesnt turn out for RL. Debate to be had if booking these big grounds is worth it. 8k in Craven Park, Salford, Halifax etc would look fuller for TV.

While opposition has been weak im liking England's style of play and starting to dream a bit now!

Wane definitely has made this England team far more attractive to watch over Wayne Bennett England side.

Surely it is in the interests of all who support our game to ban someone who posts on our message boards and doesn't even like the sport we commentating on. I know he will come back with a different username but surely this should be it for this one? While the boards are all about debate, if you show you have no interest in the sport itself your only purpose is to try to drag down those who do. Please get rid of this clown

Agree, theres also a good mix of experience heads who can manage a game and younger players at peak fitness this time round.

It’s easy, just click on their username and add as foe. The only down side is when someone else quotes them you still see their post. If everyone just ignored them then they will stop posting.

Back to the game! I bloody love the defensive intensity from England. Line speed is unreal. I think only the Aussies could match or better it. Neither have been challenged yet. And I’m looking forward to two World Class semis. Every World Cup had been boring until the semis but this year. Literally anyone could get to the final. Wane at the moment is installing excellent game plans.

Hope the fans come out in force next weekend, know times are hard and the ticket prices badly thought out but there are two options, a short trip to Leeds or a weekend away in London and both games should be top class.

Awful decision.

Finally a decent game of Rugby league, one team underperformed and the other played above themselves, but hopefully the Kiwis step up next week to give the Aussies a game for once.



Fiji probably deserved more from the game, but I didn't fancy seeing them roll over again in a RLWC semi-final.

Brilliant game that. Fiji were very very unlucky and that was a dreadful decision that went against them. NZ don't worry Australia with that performance.

So frustrating that someone can have 4 looks in slow motion and a decision as clear as day... And still get it wrong.

I know it's inevitable it will come to Super League soon enough, but from what I've seen so far I really don't like the captain's challenge. Surely there has to be a far higher bar set to overturn the on field decision than we could see there? It has effectively put Fiji out of the World Cup and even if we want to be generous, it was a 50/50 call at best.

Feel for Fiji as the decision by VR ruling ball steal was poor, for me it was a loose carry.

Shame so few fans went to the mkm to watch the game. The rfl probably need to reconsider hosting internationals at Hull and Huddersfield going forward

Leeds, Wigan, Saints and Warrington should rotate depending on the countries playing. Was great to be part of a big crowd today and that first 30 mins was something I’m used to only seeing a certain team in green and gold do over my years of watching.
