From matches viewed over the course of the season it would appear to me that Wigan have been the stand out side in the league and thoroughly deserve the top place in S.L. for the 2010 season.
Whilst victory deserved the score on sunday certainly flattered them.

I do find comments that their new signings apparently signal an era of dominance a bit OTT. They haven't won the title this year yet. Anyone heard of team spirit?

I agree.
Whilst Hoffman, Lima and Finch are all quality signings i think that retention will be critical to our chances of lifting silverware in 2011. Its very important that Coley and Fielden remain at Wigan for another season in my eyes and i am concerned about specualtion in this week League Weekly that Fielden may not be at the club next year. |
