He can't play anyway, so what does it matter if he's being paid or not. Players signed on amateur trial terms can only play reserve games, not Super League games. I'm not sure what Toronto are up to with this, they have no cap space and can't play him as a trialist. What benefit does it bring to anyone?

I'm surprised you haven't used the opportunity to include Wigan as well, so many similarities they also had an awful squad, just like Wakey and Toronto, the difference is they are trying to bend the rules at the start of the season how embarrassing is that, a bit like you really with three(3) failed accounts behind you, give it up lad/lass before you embarrass yourself even more, if that's at all possible.
