Following the fairly decent atmosphere that got going at Widnes I was wondering whether we could transfer this to the new stadium.



I know that at the first home game it was freezing which probably put most off but the atmosphere in the West Stand was dead and I fear it will continue like that and I'm not a big fan of watching rugby in silence.



Most people will probably be in the standing section but I was wondering if there are any in the West Stand willing to try and get a bit of atmosphere going?



Its going to be especially hard being spread out so much but I think its worth a try if any one is up for it?



I think I miss the Shed all ready

East stand should've been standing & could've been our new "shed", leaving the south stand as some sort of seated family stand. Similar to the set up at the HJ. 2 games in & I'm still struggling to adapt to standing behind the sticks after 22 years in "The Shed", however, I'll persevere as I'm not a sitter and as posted by others I'd only ruin the game for others by continually standing in the west stand.

That's what the west stand is for... biggest /best stand in the land and Ur sticking potential new fans on a school trip in a bog standard sitting area, na get them in the west will boost the numbers for sure.

Have tried the west stand which has a great view but like stated no atmosphere. Tried the "new shed" but view isnt great mainly because of terracing being too low. Also, atmosphere has not really taken off in there yet but hopefully tonight it might do. May give the east stand a go tonight to see what the view is like from the halfway line.

As a Leyther I will be in the west stand tonight with my son Oliver, shouting for you lot, and we can make some noise us Leythers.
