I'm haven't seen much of him this season but from what I've seen in the past, he a pretty useful centre, I'd be very surprised if we got him, although those stories about Ratchford heading to Belle Vue won't go away, and I know we signed Patten but on the Wakey board someone reckons we've signed Balymire?

Looks a fine prospect for me, not entirely convinced he's a prop though but for me would be an ideal replacement tackling machine for Alker and swain as he seems to have the knack of being in the right place every hit up.

Craig Hall is on his way out of Hull FC. I be happy if we managed to somehow snap him up.

Now that would do very nicely, always like one centre to be a barnstormer and the other a more traditional rangey type which Hall most defineatly is.

With Hull signing Will Sharpe it means that theyve dropped their interest in Francis Meli. I think Meli would be a great signing playing centre for us

I don't rate him much as a winger (poor defensive positioning, not great hands, lacks some pace) and he's certainly not a centre. Plus we already have Henry, Gibson, Broughton and Nero, unless Nero plays in the second row. But we have Adamson, maybe Wild, Anderson, Sidlow and potentially a few more for second row.

Hes played centre in the NRL and thing he looked good their in the semi final on Saturday, doesnt pass that often though so may not be a good partner for Broughton

I didn't think he that looked good in the Cup on Saturday. Kept coming too far infield and didn't pass the ball once, he was lucky and got away with it and was gifted a try. Just not good enough for centre. He is strong but not that fast so he's scored tries at Saints because he uses he strength to finish. In a Salford team he won't get many chances like that and is a liability on defence. Personally I can see him following Mick Potter to Bradford, with Paleaaesina hopefully.

Meli is powerful and hard to stop near the try line but he looked like a fish out of water in the centre position for me.
