it's looking more likely that we'll be at the willows again all next season and possilbly be in the new stadium for the start of the 2011 season! fingers crossed!

If you started building tommorrow you might just make mid 2011 season , to build on that site with all the infrastructure involved is a 2 year build

On a flat well drained prepared site with good access yes things can fly up



That is not the case at Barton , the stadium structure itself then yes it would be possible as long as there were no problems

I live right near the place and nothing has been done much yes they moved a few trees and dug up a couple of artifacts and laid a bit of sand for the fotos but thats it nothing else...

If where not going to be in for mid 2011 tthen do you think they will still be bringing out the thhird shirt to comemorate the willows seeing as we will be at the stadium stiil in 2010

That would be an incredible achievement on a pre preprepared flat site with good access



It would take 6 months to get to that stage from where you are now

You think they would just come out and let us all now what the hell is happening and when it is going to start and be fininshed so that it will shut everyone up and make everone happy (well not everyone)

That's us ' lower ' league clubs as well except we get our ' manure ' from the RFL

as for the next franchiesie, there are a lot worse grounds than the willows,



and as far as i know the following clubs are no further in a build than we are,



celtic, saints, bradford, castleford, wakefield,hull k.r.,



and i think looking at the matches that have been played on sky so far this season , we have also got the best playing surface in the league,



so dont knock our own ground lads, its not the worst in super league by far.

Come the next franchise bid though its not just about stadia is it????

i could be wrong but i think we are the only club in the league that is not running at a loss, which must us give more points than any other on that point,



but at the mo im more concerned with our on field performance than a new ground.



which if we can cement our postion in the league over the next 2 seasons, will also go towards out application for out franchise.

iv asked this question many times before but no one seems to know the answer. how can any team be running at a loss when weve got the salary cap to dictate how much we spend, dont make sense to me
