Working Class Deviance is partly the product or unequal power relations and inequality in general. It is an understandable response to not controlling the factors of production. Laws that exist reflect the interests of the ruling class and the preservation of private property. Crime committed mainly by the poor is treated in different ways than that of the rich. If you want to get rid of crime you have to get rid of capitalism I am afraid. Workers of the world unite!



oh, and I reckon it will be a lot closer game on Friday than most on here are saying. Not sure which way it will go but i can see there only being one try in it depending on which Salford turns up.

On a serious note, it's nowt to do with working class values or anything else. RL fans as a group just tend to be extremely insular and giddy, a lot more than any other collective group of people. It's almost as if they feel pushed aside by the rest of the world and feel the need to beat their chests and shout about how better they are than everyone else, including other RL supporters. Witness the willy waving in this thread about attendance numbers, for instance.

theres no need for some of the comments calling warrington fans bitter. yes we do get glory supporters, like every team do. but the rubbish that was said when it kicked off near the railway pub when wigan and warrington played at the HJ was completely blown out of proportion as it was wigan fans who were just as bad, only they come worst off. last year, when you lot played at our ground, a few salford fans got arrested from hitting police officers, and chasing wire fans down the street on dallam lane as i was walking past. so stop the with the bitter comments because theres no need for them. there is always abit of fighting at every game, its just that it is not always seen.
