Early eye witness accounts are he was reprimanding his own son. And the daily mail have made up a story. ...
Having seen him start out as a young teenager running the touchline at Rylands I would say that anything happening remotely similar to this "story" is out of character.
I would rather be of the opinion that anyone who believes the daily mail isn't too bright..

Haven't seen Matty for a while but as with Flying Biscuit, I knew him at Rylands and he didn't seem this sort of character at all.
