Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com
QuoteDita's Slot Meter="Dita's Slot Meter"Who's putting in the cash at HKR nowadays?.. have they had some new investment?'"
Had a full board takeover in the winter with a healthy contingent of no less than 6 board members (another to come later on in the year) with the existing chairman Neil Hudgell still on board putting money in. (In context his money alone kept us surviving at worst, competitive at best!)James Mcnicol is likely to be the money man behind these transfers I'd imagine
(https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/r ... ol-7919098). Some big ambitions labelled here such as wanting to watch one of the best in the land and putting money in to achieve this). All this with buying our own ground, having multiple revenue streams and some real money spinners in The Who/Rod Stewart concerts at Craven Park, off the pitch is certainly going well. The board have put it on record to do it smart though, rather than tossing money about. It's also been a well kept secret the resources we've got which is also smart..why put pressure on a new coach pre season talking the talk?
The potential is huge and you're right on the next page, it's great for the sport. I also like the statements from our board actively encouraging the sport as a whole to progress. They want competition as it would sharpen their own focus, there's no point doing all this in a poor sport they've said.

Assuming Vaughan, Musgrove and Tai go back to Australia next year we’ll have 3 quota places available. Fitzgibbon may also go back but I’m not sure when his deal expires. Be interesting to see who we’re after. Definitely need at least a couple of props and a back rower to add to Byrne coming in.
