Oh come on.It’s not as if Mulhern has set the world alight and as for Clark he’s been woeful but can’t knock your optimism.

No i've just looked at the game without emotion, yeah everyone knows we aren't clicking and players are off form but i've seen that turn around loads of times with lots of squads. Seems most Warrington fans have got to the stage that if things aren't perfect immediately anymore they need moving on straight away. Powell gets a pass from me this year, he's not stupid and knows where we need to strengthen. Once he gets rid of more deadwood at the end of this season he can actively buy more players we need. And no that isn't deluded it's realistic.

Mulhern is still better than Philbin or Butler so it is an improvement. Clark seems to be injured alot this year which is hampering his fitness etc. If he can get consistant game time he'll get back to form. But yeah our forward pack is gonna be an issue this whole seson which we all spotted before the season started. Bullock was going well for us so it's a shame he's injured, and with Philbin being off form and seemingly lost his impact we're pretty goosed.

I actually think butler is better than mulhern and he played better yesterday than Philbin has in the previous 5 games. Philbin yesterday though was probably a little bit better than butler.

It’s all immaterial . Let’s stop analysing the individual games or performance. It’s a fact we lack quality and we have digressed for some time. The truth is the problem is far more widespread and we’ve been in decline for a while. The reason imo is because we are on a vanity project and there’s a need for sanity.



The money spent trying to find a half back combination is frightening for the last 3/4 years. Start with the pack and that allows your attacking players to play. It then breeds confidence



The game at times is simple but complicated by over analysing. Not been a team that’s won the wholly grail of a grand final without a decent pack for the half’s to play behind

Lino would have been a terrific signing and I bet he wasn't ever on the radar of our recruitment team. Still he would be just as useless for us as what we actually do have playing behind a pack with no go forward and no ruck control.



Big names and gimmicks that's all our CEO is about. Leave the signings to somebody who knows how to build a balanced squad.



I hope that as this season progresses I'm given some cause to be optimistic for next season, that's the best we can hope for I think, the cup run ends next week and top 5 looks very unlikely.

A mediocre game, played by a mediocre team, coached by a mediocre coach and a mediocre CEO all with a fan base (bar a few dissenters) that accepts mediocrity as the norm.



The scary thing is that the owners are massively successful in their own businesses, but they can't get this right and that is mediocre at best.

I said in the heat of the moment after the game that Powell needs to go, though I stand by my comment when he was signed that he won't win more than Price did. Having slept on it, I do want to give him a chance to see if he can turn it around.



He needs to go through that squad, and start kicking some s; starting with Widdop. It's quite obvious his mind is already back in Australia, and unfortunately we just have his empty shell with us playing mediocre RL.



Oh, and buy some props as well, that will help a lot.

I can't comment on the game as it's all been said and I agree with most of it very little to be positive about. I'm still hacked off, not that we were beaten (Wakefield were good value for the win) but the manner in which we lost is pretty unforgiveable given the amount of spend, all be it unbalanced and misappropriated, that we operate with. I just hope Powell has boots big enough to kick some backsides

It’s a privilege not many get to play sport and be paid for it, it sucks more when the fans who pay to watch feel like they are being ripped off. I accept you can not win every game it’s a tough thing to achieve, but to lose and not put the effort in is criminal.
