| Juniors? Wasn't one of the halves Ryan Hampshire? Matty Peet has every right to pick whatever team he feels will best serve his ultimate aim of winning the Grand Final.

| Wow tongue was very firmly in cheek but it seems like I hit a nerve.
Some interesting responses intrigued by CW feeling that he doesn't want his team to win every game. I want Warrington to put a team out capable of winning every game and believing they can win every game.
On the one hand I'm not that one eyed that I cant appreciate the skills of the Wigun team and even have a respect for Peet the video gesture to Roby was a nice touch to their closest rivals.
On the other hand I'm not a fan of Wiguns professional (sarcasm) approach the constant lying on, offsides. Farrell could give a uni course on the dark arts of Rugby league.
For the record I would probably make a similar sarcastic comment if Sam decides to rest George for our trip to the capital and the fantasy team did alright without Bevan French.
Let's just get back to something both Wigun and Wires can agree on Jai Field is back in his rightful place looking like a poundshop version of Matt Dufty.

| Wigan’s continual preference to play Isa and Farrell means they keep losing out on talented backrow forwards.
So we pick up Nicholson and now Wood.
Then we hear Peat attacking Warrington for underhand approachment.
Victims of their own success.

| Warrington seem to have started doing the right thing, giving Wrench a go, Hayes, Lindop etc Backrower (Holroyd?)
Previously Ratchford, Russell, Dwyer etc would have been shoehorned in as opposed to giving the young lads a chance.
Great to see and rewards should come if you stick with it.

That`s a shame for Matty.
He clearly doesn`t figure in Burgess`s plans for Warrington.
It could have been a win/win for Hull and Russell if he stayed there.

Showed his value for us in the London game. He'd be a useful player for us to have longer term along with Bullock

Not usually a short-term injury, that. Depends on the severity of the tear, of course, but probably anywhere between one and four months out. Wishing him as swift a recovery as possible.

| Am I missing something?
20 minutes in, I'm "treated" to the insight of Sky's match co-commentator, who says....
"What a game we're watching "
Well, all I've seen seen is unforced errors, penalties, and drab rugby, which got worse, save for a last minute try
To me, it's the dictionary definition of propaganda.
I'm off to bed now, as I've an early start tomorrow, and this game is little better than poor.
Sky haven't even bothered put the half time stats up, such was the "quality", and the [i highlights[/i....don't make me laugh

My thoughts too. I'm watching the darts instead. Littler in the semi final too.

To be fair, the nrl game this morning was littered with errors. Think both teams finished with a completion rate of about 60%. Didn't stop it being a good game though.

| It’s all about perception. Wigan and stains win a game late on and it’s described as a professional performance. We win late at HKR and it’s all about the chances they bombed. This is the narrative being peddled on a regular basis why don’t they just comment on the game?

| Salford beat themselves last night. Dumb rugby to go for a short goal line drop out whilst leading with less than 4 minutes left.

| I don't know what all the fuss is about, I only saw the last half an hour of last night's game and quite enjoyed it to be honest. A close game with plenty going on.
I enjoyed the way that Salford threw it about taking a few risks. Sneyd's kicking game was excellent apart from that short drop out when there really was no need, and to be fair to Wigan I got the impression that they knew they had a great chance of winning when behind on the scoreboard and down in numbers.
Win % predictor pfffttt!

| I enjoyed the game too & it always helps when it's close & the underdog could win. Sky are always going to hype up the game as it is in their best interests. They are never going to say "This is crap & it's hardly worth watching. I'd go to bed or watch the darts if I were you."

| Smith was sin-binned for obstruction. It was a clear offence but I'm still surprised he was sin-binned, because I just assumed that 'playing for Wigan' was on the list of mitigating factors that officials and the Match Review Panel take into account.

| Saints very ordinary..they need the ref to piggy back them up the field with a few penalties..may happen in the 2nd half...

| Leeds were impressive that first half, lots of pace and really took the game to Leeds. They look like they've reversed roles in this second half already, Saints suddenly getting all the six agains as usual. And Hurrell getting booed so the fat turnstile is bound to score! Smith moaning about flops at HT too. Surely Saints don't play dirty?!?

| Right. Did I dream they said they'd be policing the rucks this year? Because it's so so slow from Saints. It's like one rule for them and another for Leeds.

| Absolutely god awful defence from Hull FC.
Their attack is average.
