To be fair, the nrl game this morning was littered with errors. Think both teams finished with a completion rate of about 60%. Didn't stop it being a good game though.

It’s all about perception. Wigan and stains win a game late on and it’s described as a professional performance. We win late at HKR and it’s all about the chances they bombed. This is the narrative being peddled on a regular basis why don’t they just comment on the game?

Salford beat themselves last night. Dumb rugby to go for a short goal line drop out whilst leading with less than 4 minutes left.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, I only saw the last half an hour of last night's game and quite enjoyed it to be honest. A close game with plenty going on.



I enjoyed the way that Salford threw it about taking a few risks. Sneyd's kicking game was excellent apart from that short drop out when there really was no need, and to be fair to Wigan I got the impression that they knew they had a great chance of winning when behind on the scoreboard and down in numbers.

I enjoyed the game too & it always helps when it's close & the underdog could win. Sky are always going to hype up the game as it is in their best interests. They are never going to say "This is crap & it's hardly worth watching. I'd go to bed or watch the darts if I were you."

Didn't see the game but did hear Harry smith got sin binned...what did he do..attack someone cantana style

Smith was sin-binned for obstruction. It was a clear offence but I'm still surprised he was sin-binned, because I just assumed that 'playing for Wigan' was on the list of mitigating factors that officials and the Match Review Panel take into account.

Good start this by Leeds. Saints looked gassed already.

Saints very ordinary..they need the ref to piggy back them up the field with a few penalties..may happen in the 2nd half...

Leeds were impressive that first half, lots of pace and really took the game to Leeds. They look like they've reversed roles in this second half already, Saints suddenly getting all the six agains as usual. And Hurrell getting booed so the fat turnstile is bound to score! Smith moaning about flops at HT too. Surely Saints don't play dirty?!?

Right. Did I dream they said they'd be policing the rucks this year? Because it's so so slow from Saints. It's like one rule for them and another for Leeds.

Saints looked better when Clark went off.

Hull will be thankful for IMG they are just awful to watch, turned over to the Giants game.

Absolutely god awful defence from Hull FC.

Their attack is average.

I watched Giants/KR firstly.

FC would struggle in the championship.



In contrast. Dwyer is top draw.

Hull FC defence or Huddersfield discipline!

2 poor game.

Giants v KR slightly the better.

But not enough to keep my interest.

Turning them both off.

Where do Hull go from here? They could sack Smith but that still leaves them with a poor squad he’s built. Hoy is occasionally good, and their pack is big, but there isn’t enough quality in the core to be a top half of the table club. It won’t be long before their neighbours become the biggest club in that city.



Dwyer is making some good ruck speed for Leigh.

Just watching them they look so disinterested. Back when they scraped the win against London I said they acted like they won the Grand Final. If I was Smith I would just resign than wait to be sacked.

The Leigh game is ok, but some teams are not up to standard.

I imagine Championship teams would be more than competitive against Hull. They are making Leigh look like prime Brisbane Broncos under Wayne Bennett.

I genuinely feel sorry for a quality player like Danny Houghton

Giants are having a mare.

Is it wrong I feel really sorry for Tony Smith?

Tony Smith is great at taking a good side and getting the best out of them.

He has failed a few times where he has had to build a team, or transition one that’s has an aging team.
