I think we'll see Percival on the wing with Ratchford at centre

Just had a glance on the VT .. There's a few on there that want Chris Hill dropped and replaced with Taylor ..Top Bants..!

I can't say that i'd blame anyone questioning Hill's selection, definitely 'off colour' for us last season and has he ripped it up over there....not really?

Heard that Rachford is playing on the wing.

Now I see Ratchford as a cracking centre, a very good full back, a very good lock or a decent stand off

I’d agree. I don’t think Hill is in any kind of form at all and is actually lucky to be there after this year’s performances.

Possibly looking at wing options after last week's diabolical.

I think Ratchford would be more than happy to offer wing cover if it'll give him a chance at starting.

England so much better when Hodgson isn't on the field. The halves see so much more of the ball. Brown playing well here.

I think there was enough there to say we will be ok. We have Watkins, Hall, Burgess , Whitehead to come back the others that didnt play i would leave out.

I'd agree with that - Although I personally thought Gale looked pretty good first half, wasn't on much in the second.



I think Bennett will bring Lomax and Hodgson back in though, meaning Widdop back in the halves and Brown missing out.



Be interesting to see what he does with Currie with Burgess presumably back.

Currie may miss out, due to a hand injury.

We looked much better with widdop at 1 and Roby at 9. Brown played well for England like he usually does, if currie is fit I would play him at centre instead of Bateman as he adds more to the team.



They were as good as they needed to be, got the job done early and then coasted, PNG will be a tough challenge.

I noticed that but then he seemed to shake hands with other players ok. Can't see it being bad enough to keep him out of a world cup quarter final.

Maybe it's his left hand that got stood on

With Sam Burgess back next week I’d drop Bateman and play Currie at centre if he is fit.
