It's still highly unlikely. I very much doubt decisions on sponsorship are either made in the NW or, in the alternative, that the NW would factor into their thinking. They are a multinational company that have spent millions building a brand - they're unlikely to taint it by sponsoring a Rugby League team. Sad but true.



That said, I suppose if they let local business units make the call its possible but I wouldn't hold your breath. I hope I'm wrong by the way, it would be great. However we've got no chance in reality.

O2 is too 'union' for me

A sponser is a sponser. it might even be bettter if we didn't have a sponsor.

I work for O2 and they are massive part of Telefonica and a £300bn company. Not heard anything about the sponsorship, but we are massive on brand. we do a lot with yawnion with regular events at twickenham. If this comes off its corporate hospitality all the way for me

Never understand it when a team has a black or dark away kit, it's summer rugby and surely on the rare occasions that we actually get some sun, players get hot enough without wearing black which retains heat?

black shirts sell well, cos they're quite popular to wear out n about with jeans n stuff, supposedly.

Myth....... there is very little different in the retention of heat by fabric based on colour. Why do bedoin herdsmen wear dark colours in the desert. Its all to do with the fabric itself. Nothing to stop teams wearing black...except it looks crap in HD (sky wont be happy!)

I'd go for an all blue home kit (whole shirt except sponsor and number, shorts, socks) and an all primrose away.

I'd like the club to run a competition, draw/computerise a kit. They announce the sponsers and let the fans create up the kits. The best couple go forward to a 'pannel' and they decided the kits.
