Today I was informed (by the same fella who told me about Leigh signing Anthony Gelling before it was official) that Joel Tomkins is set to retire and not play for us next season.

He should be part of the training staff . His experience would be second to none.

Fax are building a very good squad but still lack. Arundel a very good signing. But you still lack. As for Leigh in top 6



….You should have gone full time when you had the chance.

What was the excuse for not doing so? A reserve side @50k springs to mind. What did Fax spend those winnings on?

Why would we report the posts of a Leigh fan thinking they will walk the league? Everyone is entitled to their opinion afterall.



Nice little rant though......where to start? Yeah Fax have a good squad and we should aim to make the top 6 and hopefully the top 3. As for Leigh top 6? You don't think you will make the playoffs or you took it as an insult that I said Leigh would make the top 6? As for Fax going full time, they never had the chance to go full time. The money was never enough to make it a viable option and there simply were not the quality of player available to make it worthwhile. Nothing that has happened with any team in the Championship has proved that to be the wrong decision.

If so this leaves us way behind the 8 ball & possibly facing a disastrous season, especially as we have still not announced a Head Coach ! Furthermore, the new Head Coach *unless it's Chester* will have had zero input into signings.

I've been quite relaxed about our situation up to now but it is worrying. 14 players and no coach one Week before pre season starting! Hopefully we've got players signed up just not announced yet.



We've been linked with Hingano, Hampshire, Ashall-Bott who would all add quality, still a fair bit required beyond that. Still some players from last season who haven't been announced elsewhere.. Gerrard? Logan? Brand back on loan?
