He put Fax into the mid 8 money 3/4 with Fax paying down debt instead of investing in going FT for a crack at SL - ie no ambition. I cant comment on how good or bad they were but they rattled us a few times. |

One of his biggest failings were his signings. Everytime we made the middle 8's and he got extra money to strengthen the team the players he brought in couldn't cut it so much so that by the time he left the team was pretty much still Karl Harrison's team from when he took over. Then in the last season or two he had the chance to bring in a number of quality players like Adam O Brien and Liam Hood but was too loyal to certain players when they should have been moved along to freshen the team up. When Grix took over he ended up with an ageing team that was way past its best and its taken him nearly 2 and a half seasons to sort out.
If he does not have control over signings and does not have to deal with deiscipline problems then he could be a good coach but if that were the case he may as well be an assistant. He is a really good bloke but unfortunatley I don't think he is cut out to be a head coach. |

Not a fan of marshall, if it is him, bit will still get my season ticket x 3. He did a decent job at fax with no resources. Salford was a poisoned chalice. Has experience so would be decent. If not him will back whoever.
