incidentally the wire record win was against york wasps (thank you Wiki!) in 2000 where Briers scored 14 conversions / penalties. bet Briers' a$$ was twitching towards the end with Hodgson on 12 goals





P.S. last time wire had a big win against against quins they went away to castleford and struggled to a (in the end) comfortable 16-28 win over Cas. will wigan be the same kind of test?





to be honest i'd rather wire have thrashed quins now in hindsight rather than it being a close match as a battle hardened wire will come to wigan raring to go whereas i reckon they will be a bit smarmy with this win now and wigan caqn capilatlise easily next week.

He was awful today. He was singled out today as 3 of the first 4 Wire trys were attacking his wing. After that he got took off.

And it looks like after Pryce was taken off things got much worse!

Their right in the first half anyway, we hit their left side early on working it then went out to his side for the walk in tries.



Played well Quins were also awful at times (don't know how they beat Leeds and Saints) we lost Bridge in the second half and Mona's (not the woof one) but he came back for last five.



Good win without Landerson, Atkins and King plus Riley rested/dropped/couldn't get a place.
