I can't lie, I was extremely dubious about signing Thompson with his injury/concussion record and thought we may have another George Burgess situation. It's been the polar opposite so far and sometimes luck just seems to run your way at a time that you also have a very good side.

Yeah, frustratingly for me you have signed the pre-NRL Thompson. He has been outstanding to be fair and turned out to be a superb signing. I too was hoping he would turn out to be a George Burgess
