MadDogg: wiggn2: The previous excuses of international money transfers taking a while now surely don't stand up? I understand days or a couple of weeks but not months. I feel for the staff, players and fans. We are very lucky that we have strong ownership.
Very awkward situation for the RFL as there is no doubt an obligation to play 6 fixtures a week for Sky so I'm guessing they would be due some cash back if the club were stood down. The integrity of the league has already been damaged as I've said before.
There needs to be blame attributed to IMG for this as well. If we have a grading model then these financial issues should have been identified much earlier. Can IMG be blamed? Surely the RFL are the ones who are validating / checking salary cap submissions etc, Yes IMG have implemented the grading structure, but are they receiving data from clubs and checking it? i genuinely dont know but would assume that IMG in conjunction with the RFL have agreed on criteria, and then the RFL validate it? Grading Handbook (Final Version).pdfi've tried to copy the URL but keeps pasting as .pdf

| Massive plus having O'Neil back, you just know the intensity will pick up now with him in the team. Shout out to Mago today, said it before he looks better the longer he's on the pitch, 5min cameos and it's a waste of an interchange. Fair play to Salford for never throwing the towel in. We'll find out where we are over the next four fixtures, bring it on

| its one of those games that Wigan are in a no win situation
everyone expects them to batter Salford, if they do, thats what was expected, if they dont, there is something wrong
its difficult as a player to motivate yourself in situations like yesterday, so i can understand some of the performances, and equally as a fan, we dont want to see serious drubbings as it doesnt look good for the game overall. I'm sure we would all have preferred a full strength Salford side and we win by 2 points in a tight encounter, than a canter of a win that we had yesterday, as the only real benefit to us was O'Neill getting game time and we boosted our points difference slightly

| Only watched the last half hour, was expecting a bigger scoreline but fair play to Salford they battled well and asked a few questions. Not sure how he did before this but Vaughan looked good considering it was his first game of the year, him and Sambou have shown some promising signs for next season.
