While i understand where you are coming from if Wigan were to hijack the signing it would be at a very very last minute stage.



I am also of the opinion that we are not in for him, IL has been over to see the Cowboys and must have been aware of Tronc's availability for a while now, my opinion is that we were not in for him and have in fact made our frontrow signings for 2010, and hopefully the other signings too, they simply will not be released into the public domain until we have a coach in place for 2010.

He's not the only player Warrington have "out bid" us for in the last 2 years.

In the age of the salary cap, with most teams operating at or around the cap level, that's always going to happen. It's not a reason to commit hari-kari.

I wouldn't have minded seeing Carvell at Wigan. King was the best £250 grand we never spent.

You can never post anything about Matt King's wages without a Wire fan rushing on to deny it. I suspect they have some kind of email alert system attached to our board. I'll put this theory to the test in another couple of days, and see how long it takes then.
