I don't know. This just proves to me that you can make any result fit any argument. Sure, several of Friday night's tries were scored through individual brilliance. But a few of those responsible for this indvidual brilliance - Carmont, Roberts, Tommy - were all either signed or re-signed b IL, so you could say it shows that he's brought the right personnel in after all (as well as hanging onto the youth that is now flowering). |

I'm not being defensive or anything. Just think you need to chill a little.
It was a not obtrusive question, just wanted to see people's open opinions.
You're question is very dictated. But so far I'm pleased with IL. I have faith, just seems we're running out of options considering who's left available.

I agree IL delivered with Gleeson so there is no reason why he cannot do the same with another player or two.

Just read in the Express that Richard Owen has rejected a new deal at Castleford, I'd definitely have him at Wigan in the number one jersey, a good young player with pace and would allow us to free up a quota spot. Anybody heard anything of where he might be going, Martin Richards in the Express seems always to get things right, I would say that in my eyes he's the leading RL journalist and is usually the first to get wind of goings on.

Id rather have Owen, but if he is turning down contracts at this stage of his career i think we may well see another young talented back heading to Union, still if it does happen its ok, i mean like the Aussies we have a shed load of young talented backs who are able to represent England......... |
