Suspected broken leg for Amos, looking at 3 months +



Not good, he has been our best attacking player by a long way, almost everything goes through him.



I have gone home feeling gutted even with the win. Not confident going to Salford now.



Injury crisis!

We do have phelps back , but i think Josh Veivers derserves a chance as well especially with games against Sheffield and harlequins coming up after Salford

Absolute disaster in my eyes.

Saw it on the TV in the concourse, can't quite understand what happenned.

Feared the worst when I watched the replay at Half time under the stand.



It was an amazing try for starters but what a way for it to all end up. As he went for the line Millard came over and his weight went on Roberts leg(which was trapped up against the post padding) which to me just looked to buckle. They signalled straight away to the touchline and Roberts leg looked in a bad way(slightly bent).



I'd be suprised if we see him again in 2010 which is heartbreaking because he's been playing so well but we can't afford to dwell on it. We got so many good options so we'll just have to get on with it.

heard from a player that the first words were broken tib n fib, tht would be out for season.. still awaitin full confirmation tho...

Definitely puts a dampener on the result today.

The suspected broken leg was caused by crashing into the left upright whilst in the process of scoring a try which defied belief. A 50 metre run dancing around and handing off 4-5 Wakey players, absolutely awesome try spoiled by him being stretchered off.

A bitter, bitter blow. The only down side to todays game. As mentioned Madge has said on BBC Radio Manchester it's a suspected broken leg.



Thomas Leuluai he was very vague. He said it was the foot and they would have to have it assessed.



Sean O'loughlin is fine. He just felt his back twinge.



Some positive news is that Riddell looks likely to come back from what he said. He was quite vague on the matter.

Unlucky that he was starting to look like the Roberts we saw in the NRL.

I want to see it again to see how it managed to break whilst taking into account the supposed protective padding.



We really need Phelps to be fit and regain his pre injury form quickly.

I'm now pretty worried without Phelps and Roberts, seriously gutted for the guy. Looked like he was really enjoying his rugby, the form player in super league.

Phelps warmed up again today, he will be back for next Sunday.

He looked in a bad way at Saints but if he's not too bad we'll be fine with Phelps back and Goulding blitzing it on the right wing.

Freak injury, but one that could be crucial for our chances at winning something this year.

Carmont is fine. He could have played today, but we didn't risk him. He should be back for Sunday, as should Phelps.

Gutted to not be writing Amos' name on there

Absolutely gutted... I would rather of lost the 2 points today than Amos for the rest of the season!!

No doubt Roberts has been superb this year but to be honest there are certain things Phelps does better than him so IMO although its a loss losing Roberts we are lucky that we have Phelps to slot straight back in.

I'm gutted for Amos, but I'll take the points.



On a positive we've got a good squad with quality cover for a change

Under the concourse after watching the replay he holds his leg and moves about a bit and his face suggests a hugh amount of pain but it didn't look as though he had broke it IMO or he wouldn't have moved like Chev Walker.



Hopefully it will be medial ligament damage and out for a month









Were's Uri Gellar when you need him, we should all rub a picture of Amos Roberts leg at the same time and heal it

Phelps is fit. Just can't get in the team. Obviously he will get his chance next week.
